Back in February, before I joined the Miraheze site, there was [[AVID:Requests for Comment/Use MDY and DMY date formats accordingly|a RfC proposal involving use of date formats according to country of origin]]. The proposal was passed of course, but one date format was not brought up in that proposal: the year-month-day format used in Japan.

Given how American, Canadian, and Filipino logos and other such audiovisual things must use the MDY format (i.e. September 1, 2023) and British and Australian audiovisual things, including logos, must use the DMY format (i.e. 1 September 2023), why not require Japanese logos and what not (e.g. [[Studio Ghibli]] and [[Capcom]]) to use the YMD format (i.e. 2023 September 1)?
