AVID:Requests for Comment/Scary Logos Section

Should we add a new section with information about scary logos like the Screen Gems "S from Hell" and the Viacom "V of Doom" etc? Sickminecraft45 (talk) 15:51, 19 November 2022 (UTC)

1. Oppose This is what we've been trying to move away from. As AVID has evolved, we've moved away from the concept of 'scary logos', as such a concept is far too subjective, hence why we removed the Scare Factor in 2018. 3. Oppose Per all the above votes. One of the reasons why the scare and cheesy factors were discontinued is because their very subjective and would give out opinions others may disagree with. Editor's Notes replaced them, but even then their still subjective which got them replaced with Legacy sections, sections that talk about what is notable in the logo and not opinions. Oppose No. We have moved away from "scary logos" for the most part because of what other users here have brought up along with the fact that it was making the wiki look like a laughingstock with how overexaggerated, childish and all-around terribly written the Scare Factors usually were. If you want to talk about scary logos, I suggest doing so either on a user page, AVID:What's the scariest logo you've ever seen? or the unaffiliated Scary Logos Wiki on Fandom.
