Audiovisual Identity Database:Requests for Comment/Merge several portals in the sidebar

Our growing sidebar might be getting way too long, with several new sections such as "Adult Entertainment Logos", "Corporate Logos", "Anime Dubbing Logos" etc. Because of that, I propose the sidebar portals to be merged into several "super portals":

• Onscreen Logos: Film, Television, Home Ent, Animation, Music Ent, Adult, Online, Education, Video Game, and Technology logos + Logo Variations
• Commercial Tags
• Station IDs
• Company Bumpers: TV Bumpers, Film Rating, Home Media Bumpers
• Trailers & Snipes: Sound Trailers, Cinema Trailers, Cinema Snipes (e.g Astro Daters, Star Light)
• Startups & Bootscreens

Abstain

•  Abstain really don't know how this would be useful. the only way i could see this working is if they were like drop-down menus, as if you clicked on an option a menu drops down like the little arrow at the right of your username, but in the sidebar. something similar to how it was back in the wikifoundry days but instead of clicking on a category to reveal the pages in said category, you click on a superportal to reveal the different categories in the superportal. that would work. in fact, just thinking about right now makes me want Dis. tmsl (talk) 13:42, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
