34 Films

Background

This is Michael Rauch's vanity card.

1st Logo (August 8, 2005-February 3, 2008)

Visuals: On a white background, there is an orange number "34" zooming out. The gray text "films" slides in and an orange dot zooms out. Then the logo flashes, and then shakes like a film effect.

Variants:

  • On Love Monkey, the logo is shown zoomed out and we see the Gran Via Productions logo underneath.
  • On Life is Wild, the logo is shortened, and the word "films" is in black.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A sound of a film projector, with whooshes and dings. On Love Monkey, the end theme is shown underneath the logo, or a CBS generic theme on original airings. On Life is Wild, none.

Availability: Seen on Beautiful People, Love Monkey, and Life is Wild.

2nd Logo (June 3, 2010-July 6, 2016)

Visuals: On a grey background, there is an orange number "1", which increases quickly, stopping at "34", while gaining a blue outline afterwards. During the process, the background turns white. The text "FILMS" in blue zooms out, and then it settles under "34".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A sound of a film projector when the number increases, and a whoosh when the logo forms. Otherwise, it's the end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Royal Pains starting with the second season.

3rd Logo (March 18, 2018-August 25, 2019)

Visuals: Not really the same as the previous logo, as "34" is in a Copperplate Gothic font, and it's right aligned, instead of being to the center, "FILMS" appears once it stops at "34" instead of zooming out, and no blue outline is shown on "34" once it stopped. The logo is seen next to the Secret Hideout logo.

Technique: Same as before, but minus the zoom out.

Audio: The end theme of the show, or a CBS generic theme.

Availability: Seen on Instinct.
