1st Logo (1979-1983)

Logo: On a space background, three white circles pop up on the left side of the screen, with one circle bigger than the rest. The circles then "colorize", with one small ball red, the other small ball green, and the big ball blue with brown continents (representing the earth). The following text zooms out, with a small "presents" caption underneath:

WORLD OF VIDEO

2000

FX/SFX: Cel animation.

Music/Sounds: A loud synthesizer fanfare. The same music was used in a trailer for Krypton Force videos, indicating it could be stock music.

Music/Sounds Variant: On a trailer for the video nasty Nightmares In A Damaged Brain (aka Nightmare), a female British voice-over says "The following preview trailer is not suitable for viewing by persons of a nervous disposition. Switch off your television set immediately, unless you are prepared to be really terrified." over the music.

Availability: Extremely rare. Check old UK pre-cert releases from the company.

Editor's Note: None.
