(2000s-)

Logo: Against a grainy black background, a cat's eyes appear in a few places. Then its mouth opens, and soon after, the Wild Side Video logo (consisting of a white cat with "WILD SIDE VIDEO" below it, enclosed within a rounded white square) zooms out.

Variants:

  • On the 2007 DVD of Le Serpent, the logo is set upon the background of its bumpers.
  • On the 2008 DVD of Orphan, cracks appear on the top and bottom, and a hand then tears off the logo, leading into the warning screen.
  • On the 2009 DVD of Largo Winch, the logo is metallic and placed upon a spotlight. A metal cover then flies into the screen.

Technique: The cat animating, and the logo zooming out.

Music/Sounds: A guitar riff with striking similarities to the intro of "Walk Don't Run" by the Ventures, alongside a cat's meow.

Music/Sounds Variant: On the Le Serpent variant, the music is instead continuing from the warning screen, there are a few shifts when the eyes appear, and the meow is different.

Availability: Seen on Wild Side Video releases in France.
