Background

This was the vanity card of Gary Glasberg, who died on September 28, 2016. The NCIS: New Orleans episode "Man on Fire" was dedicated to him. He died one day after "Suspicious Minds" aired.

(September 23, 2014-May 15, 2018)

Logo: On a black and white city environment with confetti falling about, we see a parade with marching bands, and people watching it. A pink pig float with wings suddenly becomes alive and the strings on its front legs get unattached, allowing it to fly up to the sky. The pig becomes enclosed with a rectangle on a black background. The words "WHEN PIGS FLY" with smaller "PRODUCTIONS" below the text are seen below the logo.

FX/SFX: The city environment, the pig.

Music/Sounds: The sounds of a cheering crowd and a soft cartoonish "Pop!" when the strings get unattached, followed by 2 children (possibly Gary Glasberg's children) saying "Uh-oh!". Original CBS airings use a generic theme.

Availability: Seen on the first four seasons of NCIS: New Orleans.

Legacy: This is a funny logo.
