Background

Westwind is a low budget company started by producer William Webb. Most, if not all of Westwind's catalog currently sits with Multicom Entertainment.

Nicknames: "Thriller Palm Tree", "Palm Tree and the Wind"

Logo: On a black background, we see a blue drawn palm tree. A gust of wind appears, takes a turn near to the tree and makes it move. The gust of wind later stops and forms various lines with the word "WESTWIND" around the top-right side of them. Meanwhile, the palm tree stops moving.

FX/SFX: All hand-drawn animation.

Music/Sounds: A whoosh, then a bell synth note with a filtering synth pad.

Availability: Seen on movies released by the company such as Party Line, The Banker, and Backstab.
