Background

Warp Records is a British independent label founded at Sheffield, South Yorkshire in 1989. During it's early days the label specialized in electronic genres such as bleep techno (at the beginning of their career) and IDM (the genre the label is most associated with). Key electronic artists such as Aphex Twin, Autechre and Boards of Canada released their albums on Warp. Since the 2000s, the company also began signing contracts with non-electronic artists such as Grizzly Bear, Battles and Danny Brown.

(2010s)

Variants:

  • The logo may be superimposed on the closing scene of the music video.
  • There's also another variant where the copyright mark is seen below the logo.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None, or the very last notes of which song plays throughout.

Availability: Seen at the end of some official Warp music videos, songs and promotions posted on YouTube, but not all have this logo.
