Background

Virgin Produced is the film, television and entertainment division of Richard Branson's Virgin Group. The company was formed by Jason Felts and Justin Berfield (who played Resse in the American sitcom Malcolm in the Middle) in August 2010, expanding the Virgin brand into filmed entertainment for the second time since Virgin Films of the 1970s and 1980s. Not long after, a two year first look deal was formed with Relativity Media's Rogue Pictures to develop, produce and market films reflective of both studios. Virgin Produced's first theatrical release was Limitless.
