Background

The Greek arm of Village Roadshow that handles distribution of various Greek and Hollywood productions.

1st (known) logo (2004-)

Logo: On a black background, an intense orange light peeks out on the horizon. At the same time the Village Roadshow logo zooms out while light relects on the logo before turning a metal grey. After the horizon is again in full view the words "VILLAGE FILMS" fade and slightly zoom in underneath the V.

FX/SFX: The light shining on the horizon, the V zooming back and the name fading in done in excellent CGI.

Music/Sounds: A majestic and trumphant brass and string piece before a 6-note violin stinger.

Availability: Seen on Greek productions and distributions handled by Village Roadshow. It was first spotted by the logo community in a Greek DVD release of the Greek Village Roadshow production Πολίτικη Κουζίνα, known in English as A Touch of Spice.

Editor's Note: The bombastic and dramatic music might unsettle some, but other than that it's an amazing logo.
