Background

Formed sometime in the 1980s, Videoline Productions was a Canadian home video company that released dubs of old martial arts films and B-movies. Not much else is known about it, other than it was renamed Lettuce Entertain You Inc. around 1988 and the company as a whole was shut down sometime in the 1990s.

Logo (1985)

Visuals: On a green background, a light brown rectangle is seen just above the center. Inside it, the word "VIDEOLINE", in a black Aero Extended font, is seen positioned in front of some dark blue lines, with a television tube shapes made of dark blue lines that appear to form a "V", along with "P R O D U C T I O N S I N C" underneath in a much smaller black font. The logo is surrounded by a blue border. After a few seconds, the word "presents", in blue, rises up from the bottom of the screen.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A portion of "Morning Mist" by Network Music Ensemble.

Availability: Appeared on the company's release of Marked for Death (not to be confused with the 1990 film starring Steven Seagal), among a few other releases.
