Background

This is the vanity plate of Tim O'Donnell.

1st Logo (September 10, 1990)

Visuals: On a black background is a large metallic dodger blue-purple "V", completely covered by two video cameras, two filmstrips and a vintage computer monitor complete with a minimalistic keyboard. Below them is a transparent shiny blue gradient rectangle with "VERBATIM" over it, and "Productions" underneath. A glimpse of a hand holding a pencil fades from the computer as a drop shadow fades behind with an 8-pointed star appearing on the tip of the pencil.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: A brief 8-note piano ditty, part of the closing theme.

Availability: Shown only on the pilot for Uncle Buck.

2nd Logo (September 17, 1990-July 2, 1993)


Visuals: There is a white fish kissing something as a blue-green outlined upside-down triangle connected to a rectangle with the word "Verbatim" inside zooms down wading, followed by "PRODUCTIONS" in white fading in.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: The sound of a fish kissing and bubble noises.

Availability: Seen on Uncle Buck (1990 TV series) and Home Free.
