1st Logo (2000-2001)


Logo: We see rotating grayscale Earth. The green band fades in and compresses into the fancy-shaped word ViF. The word "Filmproduktion" apepars below.

FX/SFX: Rotating planet and zooming name.

Music/Sounds: A whoosh sound followed by an orchestral soundtrack.

Availability: Extremely rare. Seen on Kids World, The Unscarred and Deeply.

Legacy: None.

2nd Logo (August 25-November 17, 2001)

Logo: On the black background we see VIF International Films text

FX/SFX: The searchlights of this logo.

Music/Sounds: The end theme of the show

Availability: Seen the 2001 PBS airings MythQuest followed by Mind's Eye International and 2000 WNET and PBS logos. Even the MythQuest rerun on VisionTV does not have WNET and PBS logos.

3rd Logo (2001-2002)

Logo: On a cobalt background, we see a searchlight beaming around from the upper left corner. Then the picture zooms out into the circle, and the light flips vertically, then rotating again to the normal position and casting a reflection from the bottom of the circle. There are other circles with letters "i" and "F". The name reads "Vif International Films" and the whole logo is underlined.

FX/SFX: Moving searchlight and zooming logo.

Music/Sounds: Windy sound with single "flip", followed by the orchestral soundtrack from the first logo.

Availability: It was seen on Love the Hard Way and Vector File.


4th Logo (2002)

Logo: Same action as before is played, but the background name is much representing blue. Also, the spheres look improved with 3D effect, placed closer to each other and the letters inside changed their design.

FX/SFX: Same as the previous logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Extremely rare. Seen on Where Eskimos Live.


5th Logo (2006)

Logo: Print version of the first VIF circle appears on the white background, where the name reads:

GmbH & Co. Dritte KG

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Appeared on Ozzie.
