BBFC: Update cert symbols

Is it OK that I update the BBFC article to include the pictures of the cert symbols and updating each cert symbols and description section to a tabular format for each bumper? I'll go with my decision first, then we include the pictures of the bumpers, sorted by rating per bumper and then in chronological order. DatuDimatablan (talk) 15:51, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

BBFC article concept with graphical cert symbols

Let's use the 16th Bumper (February 6, 2019- ) as a guide to organizing each bumper image by rating and labeling it with the correct information about the film being rated in the certificate and film's actual release year (at least in the UK). Let's also include the September-October 1939 variant of the 1930s bumper that shows the film's compliance with the British Ministry of Information's requirements. BBFC Page done

Hey @DatuDimatablan:, I just finished working on the BBFC page, adding the rest of the images to the page. We still need images for the 6th bumper, since the BBFC page on the Fandom wiki does not even have images. But, maybe, the layout you made for the rating descriptions could work on all of the Film Rating bumpers pages. What do you think? LogoFun13-YT (talk) 14:14, 8 August 2021 (UTC)

Yes, the tabular layout for rating symbols and descriptions (with optional notes) can work for all film rating bumpers like those for the Motion Picture Association and the Irish Film Classification Office. Thanks. The 1982-1985 BBFC placeholder card used to have an image at the old Company Bumpers wiki. We can find it via Wayback Machine (let's use this URL: companybumpers.wikifoundry.com). Perhaps it's also okay if we add more detailed descriptions of the BBFC bumpers (at least the 1913 to 2002 bumpers). 14:46, 8 August 2021 (UTC)

Thanks. Starting work on the IFCO page right now. I standardized the gallery layout for the 1913-1982 and 2003-2011 BBFC film bumpers and the 1970-1982 BBFC trailer bumpers. You can do the same thing for the 1982-2002 film bumpers (can be sorted by rating a la what I did to the 2019-present bumper section) and complete any missing info on the existing galleries for the pre-1982 film and trailer bumpers. We may use IMDb as a resource to validate the existence of the films being rated in the certificates. DatuDimatablan (talk) 15:23, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
