Background

Castle Films (who had already been purchased United World Films, the non-theatrical division of Universal Studios) was renamed as Universal Eight in 1977. The company would go defunct in 1984 due to competition from the home video market.

Logo: On a black background, we see an "8" that is blue on the inside and pink on the outside. Then the text:
