Background

United Pixtures was a little-known company known for developing the PC CD-ROM version of the infamous game Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, of which only a few copies were made. This version of the game was discovered on March 21, 2017, and can be downloaded here.

(1993)

Logo: On a black background, we see an image of a clown painting in a light brownish background. Outside of the painting, we see the italic cursive text "United Pixtures) and the following copyright notice below:

Copyright (c) 1993
All Rights Reserved

Trivia: Strangely, the painting also appears within a certain part of the game (minus any text).

Closing Variant: We see the same logo except that the clown painting is now on the top of the screen and is smaller, while the italic cursive text along with the copyright text is seen below the painting.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: A loud bang and then the opening menu theme of the game.

Availability: Seen on the original PC version of Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, which was lost for over two decades until being found in March 2017. This does not appear on the 3DO version, which was distributed by Kirin Entertainment.
