FX/SFX: The sliding and shining. The logo was supposedly done with live-action of some sort and then converted into anaglyph-style animation, showing off the red/cyan color design.

Music/Sounds: Windchime-like sounds, that are quite compressed. The video to the right has the sounds warped, due to film deterioration.

Availability: Unknown.

Editor's Note: It's animation is unique, but can creep out some with its strange quality, especially with the warped chimes (which are unintentional).

Background

UCLA Media Center was the name for the film production branch of the University of California, Los Angeles.

Logo (1970s)

Visuals: On a black background, the cyan outline of the words "ucla media center", in two lines, is seen sliding to the center from the right. A red outline then comes out of the same starting point and settles where the blue outline stops. The wordmark shines with it's colors. Before the logo ends both outlines of the wordmark slide to the left and disappear.

Technique: Live action converted into anaglyph-style animation.

Audio: Windchime-like sounds, that are quite compressed. The video to the right has the sounds warped, due to film deterioration.
