Background

This is Tavis Smiley's production company, famous for the production of The Tavis Smiley Show. It was renamed Tavis Smiley Television and Film in 2016.

Logo (January 5, 2004-2016)

Visuals: On a white background, a CGI but 2D styled microphone appears, flipping it's speaking part and spinning to the back so we can see it's blue and black. As this happens, it moves to a position tilted to the right, and the text "The Smiley Group, Inc." flies from the top and right sides of the screen to the microphone.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A piano tune playing against a hip-hop drum beat.

Availability: Seen on The Tavis Smiley Show on PBS.
