Background

This is Paul A. Kaufman's production company.



1st Logo (January 3, 1995)


Visuals: On a white background, on the top half, there is the blue text "KAUFMAN", and on the other half, on a blue background, there is the white text "WildRice". The words "THE" and "C O M P A N Y" slide in on the top part, while "P R O D U C T I O N S" slides in over the bottom half. Between two halves, there is an "&". Below everything, there is the text "I n a s s o c i a t i o n w i t h".

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The sound of tires screeching. Original CBS airings used a generic theme.

Availability: Seen on Dangerous Intentions, which was co-produced by WildRice Productions.

2nd Logo (January 16-February 6, 1996)


Visuals: On a black background, there is a green-tinted video of stop-motion footage of live-action people walking around. Below it, there is the text "THE KAUFMAN COMPANY".

Technique: Live-action stop-motion.

Audio: A harp theme or none. CBS airings used a generic theme.

Availability: Seen on Co-ed Call Girl and A Promise to Carolyn.

3rd Logo (October 18, 1998-March 9, 2003)


Visuals: On a white background, there is a drawing of a director sitting in his chair holding a megaphone. There is a cameraman above him filming and another person besides the man. The words "T H E K A U F M A N C O M P A N Y" with "K" in "KAUFMAN" bigger, is seen above. The director gets his megaphone and says "And, cut." and puts it on the floor. When he says "cut", the cameraman stops filming.
