Background

The Fizz Factor was the Austin development branch of Amaze Entertainment founded in 2002, but in 2005, Amaze decided to retire it. In July 2008, Amaze's parent company Foundation 9 Entertainment announced that The Fizz Factor would be relaunched under its original name. Then, in July 2009, F9E announced that development capacity would be scaled down and so The Fizz Factor was closed for good.

1st Logo (May 28-31, 2002)

Logo: On an orange background, many aerated water bubbles come up and clear space to white, where the Fizz Factor logo hangs. The Amaze byline fades in.

FX/SFX: The animation of the bubbles.

Music/Sounds: Aerated sounds followed by a cartoon-styled theme.

Availability: Can be seen on Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron for PC and Game Boy Advance.

2nd Logo (November 11, 2003-June 28, 2004, December 2, 2008-October 20, 2009)

Logo: On an orange background, many aerated bubbles come up. Then the Fizz Factor logo appears in the middle.

Variants:

  • 2003-2005: Same as the first logo.
  • 2008-2009: The letters are thicker, "THE" is omitted, and the Foundation 9 byline is seen below.
  • There is a black background version used on Night at the Museum for DS.

FX/SFX: The bubbles coming up and the logo swaying before standing still..

Music/Sounds: The sounds of bubbles.

Availability: Can be found on Spider-Man 2 (PC version only), The Hobbit, Night at the Museum, and The Tale of Despereaux for DS.
