Background

The Avenue is a motion picture distribution & production corporation established in 2020. Its headquarters were located in Los Angeles, California, with other locations in New York City, NY, Sunnywale, CA, and Portland, Oregon.

(September 2021-)

Logo: On a dark background, the text "THE" appears on the center corner in a blue 3D text, rotating to the middle angle of camera, while the shadow has "H" reflected to it. It then akin a flashes to a transition of the blue background, and "H" morphs into a "A" (resembles like "H"). The logo reveals to zooms and flips to revealing "VENUE"; it then settles, and stops in the center. The name now reads "THE AVENUE", and the complete results is on a dark blue background.

Trivia: This logo was unveiled on February 2021 as a print logo, until the on-screen appearance was first debuted (possibly) in September of same year, and the logo was designed by Filmograph. This is the logo to have 2.35:1 format uploaded on Vimeo, althrough 16:9 flat format video file for this branding were introduced in the same year.

Variants:

  • There is a filmed version exists.
  • A grayscale variant exists.
  • There is a still version used as a closing logo at the end of some films.

Technique: Extraordinary CGI.

Music/Sounds: Here are the three themes:

  • A calm orchestral fanfare with a loud choir being heard during the logo's formation. Composed by (possibly) Edwin Lloyd.
  • An alternate version has the calm dramatic orchestral fanfare with 2-notes children's laughing (if you hear quietly) and a woman's voice whistles 3 notes, ending in a 2 note orchestral hits (similar to 6th National Film Board of Canada logo). Composed by (possibly) Toni Curtiz, Alex Kok and Kapolcs Tamás.
  • Another alternate version has the rearranged version of the 2nd fanfare. Also composed by (possibly) Toni Curtiz, Alex Kok and Kapolcs Tamás in co-operation with Edwin Lloyd.
  • Otherwise, the opening theme play over it, or none.

Availability: Current. Seen on many films like The System (2022) and many others.
