Background

This was the home media division of Central Newsreel & Documentary Film Studio.

(1999?-2000's)

Logo: On a fiery background, we see a black camera which is obscured by a filmstrip going down, which shows various photos of people from China and political images related to the country, along with two photos of Chinese text. Part of that filmstrip starts to go to the right. Then, a golden logo zooms up as the fiery camera background fades into an orange sky, with transparent moving filmstrips. The logo has a filmstrip rectangle with a shape which looks like two "p" flipped on both vertical sides interlocking each other and Chinese text below, surrounded by a border. There's also two triangular holes in the rectangle's vertical sides. The Chinese text then zooms out, looking up and then turning to the camera. Right when the text places, the logo fades to black.

FX/SFX: The animation, while choppy, is decent.

Music/Sounds: Part of the Star Trek: The Next Generation theme.

Availability: Extremely rare. This may be found on home video prints of Chinese documentaries.
