Background

Tedy Productions was established in 1973 by Tmira Yardeni as one of the most stable, high-quality, and influential content and production houses in the Israeli media and entertainment industry. The company didn't use a logo until the early 2010s.

1st Logo (Early 2010s-)

Nickname: "Throwing Tomatoes on Stage"

Logo: We fade into a beige background with two maroon spotlights waving, with the text "TEDY" in a bubble small caps-like font with dots on them, all illuminated in the darkness with the company name in a normal font. Then, some tomatoes from off-screen are thrown into the name, causing it to get covered up with tomato-like slime as it then quickly clears off, making the whole logo brighter and the searchlights in white. All of the text is in Hebrew.

FX/SFX: The illuminating of the logo, the tomatoes being thrown.

Music/Sounds: A drone-like sound, coupled with some cartoon effects for the tomatoes and a crowd laughing. Otherwise, it's the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Rare. Seen on Israeli shows from the era.

2nd Logo (August 4, 2011-)

Nickname: "TCDY"

Logo: On a black background, we see the text from before (now in English) with white dots appearing on the bottom inside the "E" (which looks more like a "C"), and a single dot appearing on the bottom inside the "D". Below it is the spaced out text "PRODUCTIONS". The logo is very blurry at first, but then gains focus. It then gets blurry again when it fades out.

Variants:

  • A still version exists.
  • On the American adaptation of Savri Maranan, titled Your Family or Mine, the logo shares the screen below with the Keshet International logo.
  • On the American adaptation of Euphoria, the logo shares the screen with the ADD Content Agency and HOT logos.

FX/SFX: The blurring and forming of the logo.

Music/Sounds: None, a whoosh sound or the closing theme.

Availability: Current. Seen on Israeli shows from them and their foreign adaptations. It used in tandem with the last logo.
