Background

Tara Television (or simply Tara TV) was an entertaiment TV channel, released as a joint venture between the Irish network RTÉ and UPC. It would ran in financial troubles until April 2002, when ceased broadcasting.

(1999?-2002)

Logo: Over a dark green curtain, three strips in three shades of green and one in white fall. Located down in the screen, the words "tara tv" in an stylised font with the letters "tv" smaller than the others fade in. While this happens, a quarter of the screen is taken by a montage of several scenes from Ireland, and evetually fades again.

FX/SFX: The curtains, the words fading, the scenes.

Music/Sounds: TBA.

Availability: Extinct.
