Background

Super Picture Video is the last official Betamax distributor to ever exist in Indonesia. It usually issued Hong Kong martial arts films.

(Late 80s-Early 90s)

Nicknames: "The Searchlights of Disco", "Zooming S", "Flipping S"

Logo: On a space background with multicolored searchlights (like the old Fox logos), we see a flipping "S" (looks more like a Z though) zooming into the screen. It then crashes into the screen, making the screen flash into a green background with a yellow circle on the center. Over the circle is "pt. SUPER PICTURE VIDEO" and above it is "DIEDARKAN OLEH" ("DISTRIBUTED BY"in Indonesian (also in Malay as well)).

FX/SFX: The zooming S.

Music/Sounds: Funky disco music, which is actually the intro to “Starlette” by The Brooklyn Bronx & Queens Band.

Availability: Extinct.

Editor's Note: None.
