Background

Sun Luen was the predecessor to Sil Metropole, along with Feng Huang and Great Wall.

Logo: On a cloudy background, we see a statue of a lion roaring. Behind it, there is the name of the company in Chinese, which translates to "SUN LUEN FILM COMPANY".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A superbly bombastic fanfare with many instruments and trumpets.

Availability: Seen on films from that time.

2nd Logo (June 5, 1960-February 2, 1980)

Nicknames: "The Hong Kong NBC Peacock"

Logo: We see a green-toned peacock statue (a la NBC) set on a black background fading in. Soon after, the two Chinese characters appear, which translates to "SUN LUEN" (all painted in red, with green lights).
