Background

Something Weird Video is an American film distributor founded by Mike Vraney in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The company is known for distributing exploitation films on DVD, VHS, and Blu-Ray disc. Mike Vraney died in 2014 from lung cancer while Something Weird Video still continues to distribute films to this day. The company is named after the 1967 film Something Weird.

1st Logo (Early 1990's?)

Logo: On a background of inverted footage of a nuclear explosion while shifting colors, we see the word "SOMETHING" in a wavy-like font and below it the word "WEIRD" in the same font, along with the text "ViDeO" in a funky-like font below the logo, and the entire logo is surrounded by a rectangular outline border while also being tilted a little to the left. The entire logo (including the border) changes colors in black, grey, white, yellow, blue, green, magenta, red, and purple.

FX/SFX: The colors constantly changing.
