Smokehouse Pictures is a production company founded by George Clooney and Grant Heslov in 2006 as a successor to Section Eight Productions. The company derives its name from the Smoke House restaurant, located across the street from Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California.

1st Logo (March 24, 2008-May 12, 2016)

Visuals: Just the name "SMOKEHOUSE" in a grungy font on a black background, but applied differently depending on the movie.

Variants:

  • On Memphis Beat and Argo, the logo is on a white background. On the former, "SMOKE" is in blue.
  • On The Ides of March, the logo scrolls up with the credits side-by-side with the Appian Way Productions logo.
  • On Our Brand Is Crisis, the logo is tinted in beige and has a slight texture. This was done by Prologue.
  • On Money Monster, the logo appears via a static effect.

Technique: A digital graphic.

Audio: None or the opening/closing theme of the film.
