1st Warning (1985-1990)

Visuals: On a black background, there is the word "WARNING" in a large red LCD font. The following warning text in white types out below:

The material contained herein is
protected by International Copyright
Laws. Unauthorized reproduction,
exhibition, or distribution, in whole
or in part, can result in severe
criminal and civil penalties under
the laws of your country.

Technique: Chyroned text animation.

Audio: None.

Availability:

It is seen on Simitar tapes with the first and second logos.^[Examples?]
It also appears on Crocus Entertainment tapes such as Superstorms.

2nd Warning (1986-2000)

Visuals: On a black background, there are the words "NOTICE TO USER" and below it is the warning text:

This motion picture is protected by
the copyright laws of the United
States of America and other nations.
Any unauthorized reproduction,
distribution or exhibition may result
in severe civil and criminal liability.
This videocassette copy may not be
reproduced, broadcast, loaned, rented
or performed in public. It may not be
used in any institution, including
schools and libraries, without the
authorization of the producers.

Technique: A digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on certain Simitar tapes from 1986-2000.^[Examples?]

3rd Warning (1989-2000)

Visuals: On a black background, there is the word "WARNING" in a tall red font that flashes. Underneath it is the following text in pale blue:

The material contained herein is
protected by international copyright Laws.
Unauthorized reproduction, exhibition,
or distribution, in whole or in part, can
result in severe criminal and civil penalties
under the laws of your country.

Variant: There is an early version of this warning where the red "WARNING" text is in a different font and is a bit narrower.

Technique: Chyroned text animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on some tapes after the "Gold Bars" logo ends. It is also seen on some DVDs before the Simitar DVD logo begins.^[Examples?]

It was also seen on the SGE Home Video release of Beverly Hills Bodysnatchers.
