Background

This is the vanity card of Silvio Horta. The company name comes from a tongue-in-cheek acknowledgement of the common mispronunciation of the silent H in Horta's surname.

1st Logo (July 14, 2001-March 22, 2002)

Logo: On a white background, we see an outlined line splitting in half, showing us a maroon circle with a "H" inside, with two lines with dots on the end with the words "SILENT" and "PRODUCTIONS" on top. It is shown below the Roundtable Productions logo.

Technique: The splitting.

Music/Sounds: Three synth notes with a choir.

Availability: Seen on The Chronicle.

2nd Logo (September 10, 2003-February 6, 2004)

Logo: Under the Matthews/Scharbo Productions logo, the company name in yellow appears one-by-one on a light pink background with the "H" in black and a yellow outline around it.

Technique: The logo forming.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on Jake 2.0.

3rd Logo (September 28, 2006-April 14, 2010)

Logo: On a black background, we see a white line with the text "silent" on it. The line zooms out to reveal that it is a "H" with the text "SILENT" above the "H" and "PRODUCTIONS" under the "H".

Variants:

  • The logo would come in either the standard 4:3 version (seen on full-screen prints) or the widescreen 16:9 version.
  • Sometimes, it shares the screen with other logos.

Technique: The line zooming out, the text appearing.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme.

Availability: Seen on Ugly Betty.
