Background

Sachen (聖謙企業股份有限公司), also known as Thin Chen Enterprise, was a Taiwanese developer and publisher of unlicensed games for the NES/Famicom, Game Boy and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, and licensed games for the Mega Duck and Supervision handhelds. The company closed in 2011.

Logo (1990-1995)

Visuals: On a black background is the word "SACHEN" in bold.

Variants:

On Hell Fighter and The Great Wall, the letters in green are shown spinning before forming the name.
On Dancing Blocks, The Penguin and Seal, and Millionaire, the outline and the text of the logo, both in blue shades, slide into the center of the screen. The logo changes colors once it is formed. Tasac and Final Combat use the above variant, but the text remains blue. On Mahjong Academy, the variant is shown but the logo is initially in green.
On Locksmith, the logo is in yellow.
On Street Heroes and Rockball, the logo is in brown with a golden border. The letters move vertically and place, then the logo shines. Jurassic Boy 2 has the same variant with the logo in brown. Another variant is in Super Pong 2, where the color is clearer and the shining animation is faster.
On Q-Boy, the outline of the letters draws in white, then the registered mark appears and the logo wipes into red. A bevel appears as the logo keeps shining.
On Happy Pairs, Auto-Upturn, Magic Cube, and Chinese Checkers, the text is in a bold font with a shadow below it. The logo changes colors from blue to yellow, green and pink by wiping. It also appears on Olympic I.Q., where the pink color is omitted.
On the Japanese version of Mahjong Companion, the green logo is shown with the blue Hacker logo below.

Availability: Seen on Sachen's Famicom games from the early 1990s onward.
