Logo (1998-2003)

Visuals: Over a brown concrete background is the name

RedCap
———————————
productions inc.

in the middle of the screen. "Red Cap" is in a Times New Roman font, while "productions inc." is in Helvetica and is spelt in lowercase. The word "Red" is colored black, while the word "Cap" is coloured red. A line in the middle separates the top and bottom and the tail of the “p” in cap is in between “productions” and “inc” Then a red civil war cap comes flying from the right side of the screen and lands on the top of the letter "R" in "Red".

Variants:

  • On Funny Farm, the company name animates into place before the cap appears and a 1998 copyright notice in the Comic Sans font fades in.
  • On Wanna Play? and Grandma, Look What I Found, the logo fades into the Catalyst Distribution logo.

Technique: CGI

Audio: A steam whistle blowing followed by a metal clicking noise.

Audio Variant: On I Can Do It!, the metal clicking noise repeats itself twice.

Availability: Was only seen on Funny Farm, Grandma Look What I Found!, I Can Do It!, and Wanna Play? all which last aired on Treehouse TV in 2003, three of which were never released on video. As such, tape trading is the only way to find them. Grandma Look What I Found! was released on video.

Legacy: This is a memorable logo for those who enjoyed the company’s show’s growing up.
