1st Logo (1988)

Logo: The logo begins with the camera panning down the vertical sign of the Radio City Music Hall (located in New York City). The sign has red neon outlining around and on the lettering as well. As the camera scrolls down the sign, lighted letters fly inside each letter of "RADIO CITY". (Kinda reminiscent of the HBO Original Movie Bumper from the 1990s.) After it scrolls down to the part where it says "MUSIC HALL" in a stylized font, it then fades to the whole exterior of the building with the vertical sign on top of the horizontal marquee sign reading "RADIO CITY" and "MUSIC HALL" nearby that. All ofRadio City Music Hall Productions (1988) it is in the same style as the previous sign. Around that is blue neon outlining and below the second neon lining is "PRODUCTIONS" in yellow and blue outlining below that. The signs are attached to the building. On the left are three buildings with lighted windows and a nighttime background setting.

FX/SFX: Nice looking and ambitious CGI from 1988!

Music/Sounds: Just the closing soundtrack to the program.

Availability: Rare. Seen at the end of Dirty Dancing Live in Concert; the title is available on VHS from Vestron Video.

2nd Logo (November 23, 1990)

Logo: On a black, gray and white background is a golden city (resembling New York City) on an arch. Shadow effects are seen underneath. Below is the blue text "RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL TELEVISION PRODUCTIONS".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Just the closing theme to the program.

Availability: Even rarer than the first logo! Appeared at the end of Penn & Teller: Don't Try This at Home!, which aired on NBC on that day and is only available on VHS in the UK released by Fremantle International.
