Logo (1980s)

Visuals: After the warning screen, the black/white gradient background then starts to zoom out. Three colored (dark red, blue and green) obtuse triangles with white outlines flip onto the screen and arrange themselves to the left. All the while, the words "POLETEL", in beige and with a slightly taller P and L, zoom out. The words "HOME VIDEO" zoom out with a dust trailing effect and stop on top of "POLETEL".

Variants:

  • A very short version exists, where it just has the background zooming out for a second before stopping.
  • Some videos overlay the following text in yellow:
POLE-TEL FILMES
E
EMPREENDIMENTOS LTDA.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A brief snippet of the opening to "Everywhere" by Fleetwood Mac.

Availability: Seen on Brazilian tapes of the time, such as a release of Toltecs.
