Background
Pioneer Productions was the name of a developing group inside EA Canada.
1st Logo (August 31, 1994-June 28, 1996)
Visuals: On a black starry background, a gold smoky circle appears with a black shadow of a man's head over it. There is also the contour of his body below, as it overshadows the stars. Suddenly, the man's eyes flash and now there's a whole shadow of the man over the circle, with a sun blink behind. A red outline and the words "PIONEER" and "PRODUCTIONS" below come zooming in.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: An ominous background tune with the sound of eyes flashing.
Availability: Seen on The Need For Speed under all platforms. Also appeared on NHL '96 for DOS as well.
2nd Logo (September 21, 1994)
Visuals: Similar to the previous logo, but the man's figure now shows ominous blue eyes, and the flash is quicker. This time, the word "PIONEER" is black with a red outline, and the gold color is not vivid. Plus, the light effect runs "PIONEER" near to the end.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Same as before, and a sword blade sound is heard as the light blink appears.
Availability: Seen on NHL '95.
