Background

Pilot is a legendary Moscow-based animation studio founded in 1988. The studio's tagline flips in one-by-one below, saying "MOSCOW ANIMATION STUDIO", "BIG ANIMATION STUDIO" or "The animation studio of Aleksandr Tatarsky" (all in Russian). On earlier production, the line would appear below and the name was written in English and in the serif font.

Variants:

  • In late years, the logo is still and has a different byline in the memory of Aleksandr Tatarsky, the founder and leader of the studio.
  • On "To South From North" (К югу от севера), the studio tagline is written in English ("MOSCOW ANIMATION STUDIO").
