Background

Philips Sidewalk Studio was a division of Philips Media that produced educational games for the Philips CD-I. The company didn't last long, as it got negative ratings for the games that it produced, and it was ultimately shut down.

Logo: On a sidewalk background, the Philips logo in blue is seen above "SIDEWALK". Each letter in "SIDEWALK" is askew and in different colors, resembling sidewalk chalk. "Studio" in purple is below on the base.

Technique: The fade-in and fade-out.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Uncommon. Used on a majority of children's games for the Phillips CD-I, one example being the infamous The Wacky World of Miniature Golf.
