Background:

Oxford Films was once the educational arm of Paramount Pictures.

1st Logo (1970s)

Oxford Films Oxford Closing Variant

Nickname: "Mountain on Square"

Logo: On a black screen, we see the words "DISTRIBUTED BY" on top. The familiar Paramount logo from the 70's is seen inside a box on the left. At the right, we see "OXFORD FILMS" on a fancy font. Under it, the words "A SUBSIDIARY OF PARAMOUNT PICTURES CORPORATION" is seen.

Variant: A superimposed version of the logo exists.

FX/SFX: None, just the fade in and out.

Music/Sounds: Either silent or the ending theme of the short.

Availability: Was seen on educational films produced by Paramount.

Nickname: "Split Rectangle"

It's basically an edited version of the Paramount Television "Closet Killer" Logo.
