Paragon Entertainment was a film and television production company founded in 1977 by Jon Slan. In 1994, Paragon acquired George Harrison's HandMade Films and acquired 50% of Lacewood Productions in 1995, ultimately acquiring control of Lacewood in 1997. Paragon went bankrupt in 1998.

Visuals: On a black background, a "P" with yellow outlining and a star inside it spins and zooms out. Then, the phrase "PARAGON ENTERTAINMENT CORPORATION", in yellow and in stacked words, fades under the logo. A light then passes through the logo.

Variants:

  • A copyright stamp may be seen under the logo text.
  • Sometimes, the logo is still.
  • On Lamb Chop's Play-Along, the text "in association with" fades in underneath the logo text prior to the WTTW Chicago logo.

Audio Variants:

  • At the end of VHS releases of Lamb Chop's Play-Along, the following dialogue between Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop (much like similar variants of the A&M Video and Fries Home Video) is heard:
Lamb Chop: Hey, what's that? Oh, I know, it's a "P"! What is i--I can do it, Para...chute.
    Shari: Paragon.
    Lamb Chop: They're all gone.
    Shari: Well, that's true.
    Lamb Chop: All gone!
    Shari: Bye-bye.
    Lamb Chop: Bye-bye!
  • On the 3rd season of Lamb Chop's Play-Along!, the WTTW Chicago logo's alternate take jingle was heard.

Availability: Was last seen on reruns of Lamb Chop's Play-Along on Kids & Teens TV. Also on Forever Knight and Kratt's Creatures with only the tail end of the animation playing, as well as '90s prints of HandMade films including Monty Python's Life of Brian and Time Bandits. Also seen on the Celine Dion special on Disney Channel.
