Background

Panorama Distributions, also called Panorama Pictures (全景影业) is a Chinese theatrical film distribution company. Among their catalog includes national productions from other studios as well as American large-budget productions and cult films.

Logo (April 23, 2012)

Visuals: There is a zooming shot of a field set under a cloudy sky, with a tall snowy mountain range shown on the horizon. The letters of the metallic "PANORAMA" appear dragging from above from the sides, all hanging on strings. These then settle near the center, at the front of the mountain horizon. The strings become detached from the letters, and a silver rectangle appears with a triangular cut at the bottom, with the peak of the mountain covering it. At the bottom of "PANORAMA", a silver underline and the Chinese characters "全景影业" appear fading in below. The background then fades to black, leaving the logo for a few seconds.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A majestic orchestral fanfare with the sounds of whooshes, metallic clanging and wind blowing.

Availability: Its only known appearance was in Eastern Bandits, also known as An Inaccurate Memoir.
