Background

Pan Vision AB is a global Nordic publisher formed in 2001 by the merger of Levande Böcker, Pan Interactive, Young Genius and Vision Park.

1st Logo (2001- )

Logo: On a black background, there is a white circle. Inside the white circle, there's a full shaded semi-circle that's below inside the circle. Below, "PAN VISION" is written in simple font. The background is black for games, but can be different for DVDs. In later years, the logo began to appear in a purple color.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Rare, but not so scarce as its predecessors. Can be found on games, including Bandits: Phoenix Rising and Angel Cat Sugar for DS. Other appearances usually occur in Nordic video game releases.

2nd Logo (2001-2009)

Logo: On a scarlet background, we see a 3D circle from Pan Vision logo rotating and coming to the place. The name zooms in below. The logo then darkens and the copyright warning appears over it.

FX/SFX: The ring rotating.

Music/Sounds: The ring whoosh sound and the short windy tune.

Availability: Appeared on Nordic DVD releases. Widescreen variant is seen in random DVD releases such as My Pet Cat from 2007 and Djurens ungar - Fantastiska Hästföl from 2008.

3rd Logo (Mid-2000s)

Logo: On a live marine blue background, the white Pan Vision circle and name appear via rippling effect. After the logo forms, it fades out and the copyright warning proceeds on the same background.

Variant: There exist a abridged rendition of the logo that fades out without displaying copyright warning.

FX/SFX: The rippling effect, which looks outdated.

Music/Sounds: Silence.

Availability: Appeared on Nordic DVD releases. At least seen during 2007.

4th Logo (Late 2010-2011?)

Logo: From several angles, we see several purple curves tracing a dark pink Pan Vision logo. Then two lines start moving from opposite directions and collide in the center. As they collide, the sparks burst out and the logo rises from the center.

FX/SFX: Tracing effects and the logo rising.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic synth note based on the 2nd logo music.

Availability: Currently appears on Nordic releases.
