Background
Newmarket Films was an American film distributor and producer formed in 1994 as a subsidiary of the Newmarket Capital Group. It was acquired in 2009 by and later folded into Exclusive Films.
1st Logo (September 5, 2000-2003)

Nickname: "Newmarket Splash"
Logo: A bright light flash occurs and the word "NEWMARKET" appears in a shiny white font (sometimes with orange glimpse). There is a dim, full width line right below the word.
FX/SFX: The splash.
Music/Sounds: A harsh string with windy sounds, or nothing.
Availability: Seen on the company's early films, like Cruel Intentions 2, Stark Raving Mad, Memento, and Donnie Darko (the director's cut uses the next logo).
Editor's Note: None.
2nd Logo (2003-May 13, 2011)
Nickname: "Newmarket Piano"
Logo: On white blocks, several orange plates appear like in a vertical piano board, then they zoom out and rotate 90 degrees clockwise. Other letters glow up, and we can read NEWMARKET FILMS, with T and F connected. The three blocks appeared first are now horizontal up to F. The logo then fades out.
FX/SFX: The blocks lighting up.
Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.
Availability: Seen on later films from the company, such as The Nines.
Editor's Note: None.
