1st Warning (1982-1983)

Same as the VidAmerica warning screen at the time.

2nd Warning (1983-1991)

Warning: On a purple background, we see the FBI square (a big white "FBI" with the FBI logo in white). Next to it is a white square with black text. Between some of the text is the crimson text "WARNING!"

Variants:

  • There is a tacked-on copyright date on Unicorn Video releases.
  • Sometimes the background is blue.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: This was used for Embassy Home Entertainment and Nelson Entertainment before New Line Home Video took over their home entertainment department. Warning: Kind of an updated version of the previous warning. The shadow effects are white, "WARNING" is a bit skinnier and the text is bolder. Also, the lining of the text is very different as well.

Variant: A custom-made version was seen on The Golden Compass.

Music/Sounds: None.
