1st ID (1985)

Logo: On a dark orange background, we see a large sun in the center emitting solar bursts. Suddenly, a blue circle zooms in, and after the blue circle zooms out, the background changes to dark blue and the solar bursts become a light blue outline. Finally, the text "NEPAL TELEVISION" fades in and the circle starts shining.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: A somber-sounding traditional Nepali tune.


2nd ID (January 2, 1989-????)

ID: On a space background, we see a white 4-pointed star flash in. Then, we see a woman's eyes open, and a curve draws in. Then, a Hindu temple along with birds slide in. Finally, the words “NEPAL TELEVISION” and the company name in Nepali appears letter by letter and fades in.

Variant: A variant exists with slower animation and without an announcer.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: A muffled guitar theme with announcer speaks in Nepali.

Availability: Extinct on television.

3rd ID (January 31, 2019-)

ID: On a sunset, we see a some mountains with a bird flying around, another bird comes in and fades to a Nepali city. Zooms out with some birds flying around, it fades to some house and rocks and a hill, it fades again to a Nepali city as before with two birds flying around. It fades couple of shots to unveils the Nepal Television logo with the word “HD”.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: A traditional Nepali theme.
