Background

A production/film sales company started by Mark Damon after his previous company, Vision International, folded. In 1999, the company was purchased by Behaviour Communications and renamed to Behaviour Worldwide; however, after that company folded, Damon bought the company back and reverted it to its original name.

Nicknames: "The D Globe", "Oversized Stretched Earth"

Logo: A golden oval globe frame zooms out upwards while shines, and then M, D (which covers the globe frame), and P fade in one by one. The yellow line draws below it, while "WORLDWIDE" fades below.

Variant: On some video releases of films produced by this company such as Inner Sanctum 2, "Home Video" appears in place of "Worldwide."

FX/SFX: The zooms, the fades, and the line drawing.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme of the movie.

On October 10, 2003, the company changed its name to Media 8 Entertainment, which in turn, filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in April of 2012.

Logo: A seagull flies over the water and touches it twice, casting ripples, that join together into "8", when the words:

FX/SFX: The seagull, water animation and name appearing. Great animation.

Variant: There is a still variant with the plain, brighter picture and the seagull in flight. It's used on the comapny's website.

Music/Sounds: A majestic soundtrack, with two dings when the seagull touches the water.
