Background

Mazzarella Educational Media was a video distributor of educational programs for schools during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Its library is now owned by Cerebellum Corporation.

Logo (1989-1990s)

Visuals: A four-page book fades onto the screen against a black background, the pages colored (from left to right) yellow, red, blue and green. The blue page contains filmstrip-like markings on either edge. Beneath the book is the white text "Mazzarella Educational Media" in a small conversational font. The image holds still for several seconds before fading out.

Technique: Simple 2D drawing techniques.

Audio: An organ sounder vaguely resembling "Happy Birthday to You", which shifts to a prolonged bell and triangle towards the end.

Availability: Seen on Mazzarella-distributed tapes during the company's lifespan such as Alphabet Zoo.
