<gallery mode="packed" File:Magnolia1.jpg File:Magnolia2.jpg

Logo: On a black background, we see a red magnolia flower lying on a blue disc, with "magnolia" in blue and "pictures" written to the right in red in a typewriter font.

Variant: On the trailer for Wonderful World, the background and petal outlines are white.

FX/SFX: Only the fading.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Common. Seen on almost all films from the company.

Editor's Note: None. It's a boring logo.

2nd Logo (May 26, 2002-September 13, 2005)

Magnolia Pictures (2002)

Nicknames: "The Projector", "The Magnolia Projector"

Logo: On a bluish-purple background, we see a blue film projector with the Magnolia Pictures logo on the light. Suddenly, the projector faces towards us, and the background is completely white. Then, we see the blue disc (as part of the logo) sliding on the left, wiping the words "magnolia pictures" in the same font as the previous logo. The disc stops right next to the text, and then the red flower (also as part of the logo) fades in and zooms out, and is placed in the disc. (Like the finished product of the logo, but the design is slightly a bit bigger than usual.) After the entire logo forms, filmstrip suddenly rolls out on one of petals.

FX/SFX: Flash animation. An improvement over the previous logo!

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extinct. It could be found on the Magnolia Pictures website during the time period. The pages from the time period (which have this logo) were still saved today (despite being extinct) on the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.

Editor's Note: The projector suddenly facing to us may startle some first time viewers. But nevertheless, it's better than the previous logo.
