Background

Lionsgate+, also known as Starzplay Arabia in Arabia and Lionsgate Play internationally, is a brand of Lionsgate for international streaming that was formerly StarzPlay and Starz Play, launched in 2012 in the United States.

StarzPlay

1st logo (2017-2022)

Visuals: Same as the 2016 Starz Originals logo, but with "PLAY" added between "STARZ" and "ORIGINALS".

Technique: Same as the 2016 Starz Originals logo.

Audio: Same as the 2016 Starz Originals logo.

Availability: Seen at the start and end of Starz Play original series before the Lionsgate+ rebrand, abandoned after the Lionsgate+ renaming.

2nd logo (September 29, 2022)

Visuals: On the Starz background at the time, the StarzPlay logo with the text "IS NOW" below it transitions to the Lionsgate+ logo with a glass display.

Technique: CGI animaion.

Audio: Same as the 2022 Starz Originals logo, but 2 very quiet wooshes are added.

Availability: Only seen during the Lionsgate+ rebrand.

Lionsgate+

Same as the 2nd StarzPlay logo.

Availability: Only seen during the Lionsgate+ rebrand.

2nd logo (2022-)

Visuals: Same as the 2022 Starz Originals logo, but the logo is replaced with "LIONSGATE+".

Technique: Same as the 2022 Starz Originals logo.

Audio: Same as the last logo, but without the whooshes applied.

Availability: Seen after the Lionsgate+ rebrand.
