Background

This is the vanity plate of Kari Lizer.

Logo (March 13, 2006-May 19, 2021)

Visuals: Over a black background, the logo starts with the white company name in Arial. Below it is a TCR timestamp that counts down for 2 seconds.

Trivia: This logo is actually a temporary placeholder that was made by a technician, presumably to be replaced by a more conventional logo when the time came. Kari deliberately chose to stick with the placeholder instead, and when the producers objected, she said "Come on, let's not do this anymore, I have to get home and make spaghetti."[1]

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: Either a muffled whistling theme (composed by Ric Markmann, Dan Pinnella and Chris Wagner at Matter Music) or a short ukulele tune. Otherwise, it's the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on The New Adventures of Old Christine on CBS and Call Your Mother on ABC. Also seen on the failed pilot of Help Wanted.
